“Debbie & Friends” – October 15 at 11am, doors open at 10am
From the moment Debbie & Friends launch into their first song, “I’m Glad You’re Here,” the children sing, dance, jump and have fun with the band. From that high-energy opener to the ecstatic ending, the pacing of a Debbie and Friends show perfectly aligns with the attention spans of their young audience. They’ll rock out and get the kids dancing in a theatre-sized conga line, and then they’ll bring them down gently to relax and engage in more attentive ways. Debbie and Friends has been honored with 25 national awards including a 2011 Grammy Award. Winner of more than 20 National Awards including CBS Boston Best Local Children’s Musician! “Big Joe the StoryTeller” – March 4 at 11am, doors open at 10am
His name is Joe Pagliuca, but you can call him Big Joe! Using a collection of original stories and tales from around the world as well as various props, puppets, and other surprises, Big Joe puts on a show that is unlike anything you have seen. He has thrilled audiences at schools, libraries, parties, and big events such as First Night, the Life is Good Festival, and at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox. “Josh & the Jamtones” – May 20 at 11am, doors open at 10am
Josh & the Jamtones are an interactive, ultra-powered dance party. We make music for kids! And their grownups. Plus big brother/big sister, grammies and/or pappies, family pets, babysitters, 3rd cousins, elderly neighbors, old college roommates, etc. We’re pretty inclusive like that.
Our music’s got swagger: infectious, ska-centric jams run into stadium-sized monster rock choruses, which blend into a cappella sing-a-longs fueled by slick beat boxing and massive four-part vocal harmonies–all packed into a ball of frenetic dance party craziness! Sounds fun, right? It is, we promise.
