Nancy Schön is best-known for her iconic Make Way for Ducklings sculpture in the Boston Public Gar¬den, which is based on Robert McCloskey’s book. In her new memoir, Make Way for Nancy: A Life in Public Art (with a foreword by Anita Diamant), the indefatigable sculptor tells the story not only of how the ducks came to Boston but also how they travelled to Moscow, championed by Barbara Bush and Raisa Gorbachev, to mark the START Treaty. Join her for an inspiring talk. A book signing will follow with books provided by Wellesley Books.
