To highlight the numerous ways in which artists create a sense of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface, the McMullen Museum is offering a perspectives workshop for children ages seven to twelve. Following a brief tour through “Nature’s Mirror”, “Esteban Lisa”, and “New England Sky”, children and chaperones will explore methods for organizing space, including layering, one-point perspective, and atmospheric perspective. Children are always encouraged to develop their own methods for creating dimension and to share their discoveries with the group.

Because seats are limited, the Museum requests that all children are registered prior to the event at http://bit.ly/2x7WgEm.
