Join Rhode Island School of Design Adjunct Professor Clara Lieu for the second lecture in a two-part series for visual artists. Having an effective website is a major part of being a visual artist today. Even with social media, a website is the base where an artist can show the scope of their artwork. Topics will include:

· Creating a clean, easy to navigate artist website
· How to overcome the challenges of building your own site
· Practical advice for simple actions to clean up and reorganize your existing website
· On-the-spot critiques of several pre-selected websites of local artists

A Q and A session will follow. This program is part of the Newton Festival of the Arts. Cosponsors include Newton Art Association, Newton Camera Club, Newton Cultural Alliance and Newton Open Studios (NewArtCenter).
