Nonantum Neighborhood Association is proud to announce its 8th annual village day which is always the first Sunday of June sponsored by VillageBank. NNA is truly an old fashion village day! Each year we honor and have an essay contest which we award two $1,000 scholarships. We have honored businesses in Nonantum, our Veterans, fire & police, and last year our seniors from 90-100. Come listen to Beatles Studio Two band and all rides and events are free!
Choral works performed by our three ensembles include Barber’s “Sure on
this Shining Night” and works by Mozart, Handel, Schubert, Willcocks,
and Parker. Also on the program, Faur’s “Messe basse” and Chilcott’s
“A Little Jazz Mass” with a trio from Berklee College of Music.

For the 41styear, Newton Highlands celebrates life in the Village with fun, food and fabulous entertainment. The day starts with a USTF-sanctioned 5K road race, followed by free kiddie rides, intriguing musical performances, booths selling goodies of all kinds and tantalizing street food. Lincoln Street, in the heart of the Highlands becomes a pedestrian paradise from Noon to 4pm. Hosted by the Newton Highlands Area Council & the Hyde Community Center with participation by the Highlands Merchants.
